Hey Mike, Just wanted to thank you for the fun on the water. Thanks for taking the time to teach me to use a bait caster. I do not get much time to fish, so that was very relaxing. The company was great! We will have to do it again.
Thanks Maria
Just wanted to drop a note to let you know how much we enjoyed the trip with you. The weather was not the most cooperative, wind was blowing pretty good, but you kept us in good positions to fish and was most enjoyable to fish with. We will enjoy fishing with you again as the opportunity presents. Thanks for a great evening on the water.

James and I had a blast today.  It was everything we had anticipated and more. You were an excellent guide and put us on some good holes. Thanks again.

I just wanted to write and thank you for the joy that you gave my husband and grandson.  Bernard and Jordan had the time of their lives.  I cannot tell you how much it means to me and my daughter for Jordan to have this memory with his grandfather for the rest of his life. To this day, Jordan tells “granddaddy that he should have used the net to catch the “big” one that got away. He has bragged daily about how he can cast and catch fish.  Thank you again.

This was Tricia and my trip with this guy last weekend. It was way too much fun. Great guide, no pressure even when we bird-nested some of the fishing reels. I finally got the hang of using a bait casting reel for the first time. When Tricia couldn't quite get it right, he made every cast for her. He'd put the lure in the most promising places then gave her the rod to work the bait. Like we said, it was just really nice to be out. Masses of water birds, King Fishers, Egrets (I think) and of course ducks and geese. We even saw a baby duck this late in the year. Anyway, just wanted to share with all of you.

Hello Mike.
I just wanted to say thank you again for a great day of fishing! I had a great time. You taught me how to fish in different ways and you were extremely patient. Thanks again for taking the extra time with us today. I had no idea how much this type of service really cost. You gave us a great deal and it was a great blessing. I am currently trying to start my own business and finances are pretty tight, but my wife found your coupon and it made it affordable for us. You went way beyond the call of duty today and I wanted to say thank you. I would love to take my son or my dad out on a trip someday with you. I will send you some pictures soon.
Blessings, Phil LeBeau
Mike, great fishing with you yesterday! Good to meet you...see you next time I'm in town.

Thank you for a great evening of fishing. Do not remember the last time I caught so many bass so fast. Can't wait to go again.

Fishing Reports

Old Hickory Lake
01/08/2012
Bass were scarce this morning and early afternoon. Only caught a few bass and a couple of crappie with jerkbaits. Some bass were also being caught with jigs. None were keepers. Water temperature is around 48 degrees. Water level was down around a foot and a half.  Late afternoon bite finally come through.  Caught several bass between 2 and 4 pounds and a pound and a half crappie in a depth of 5-20 feet.  Seemed that once the water drop stabilized, the fish moved in to eat.  Wind was North Northeast at 5 MPH and cloudy skies with some breaks of sun late afternoon.

Assembling a Multi Piece Rod
01/11/2012 08:43:32

When assembling a multi-piece rod, lightly twirl the tip to be inserted (the male end) against the side of your nose. The oils on your skin will act as a lubricant when assembling and disassembling. The oil is naturally water resistant and very thin.
