August 27, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
I had to pleasure of taking Phil LeBeau and Paul DiBrito out on Old Hickory Lake this morning! We had a great time as both Phil and Paul tried their fishing with a baitcaster rod and reel. Both did a great job, but Paul needed his old faithful spinning rod/reel comb. Old Hickory Lake was quite dirty and stained as it is still trying to recover from the flooding of August 17 - 19. Where we found clean water, we found fish! There were millions of shad in the shallows. It was no surprise to catch shad when throwing a crankbait! We caught five keeper bass. Even though we had a slow day due to lake conditions, we still had alot of laughs and a great time! Thank you both for spending the morning with me. I look forward to fishing with you both again!

July 17, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
Went out on Old Hickory Lake this afternoon with my wife, Lela and son, Trey. It was definitely hot and humid, but we hung in there. We caught 4 nice bass off of drop offs and points. Lela hung a HUGE 8+ pounder that unfortunately broke off at the boat. You should have seen the size of its mouth! The size of a small frying pan! Even though she did not completely catch that HUGE bass, we all will have great memories of that fight! Overall we had a wonderful time with some great laughs.


July 7, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
Finally got some time with my oldest son, Michael! So we hit the lake with my youngest son, Trey. We fished for bass. Catching was pretty good as we caught 8 bass, with two keepers in the 2.5 pound range. We had a great time!

 

July 4, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
Susan and Alana Noe from Winterhaven, Florida came to the Nashville area and fished with me and my son, Trey. Fishing from 930AM to 11AM, Susan and Little Alana caught 58 bluegill. Everyone had a blast! Thanks Susan and Alana for the great time! Let's do it again soon!

June 30, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
Mark Griffin from Ten Mile, TN came to Gallatin and fished with me. Fishing from 9AM to 1PM, Mark and I caught 31 bass using deep crankbaits, brush hogs, jigs, and lizards. It was not too hot as the front gave us drier conditions and winds from the north for a nice breeze and awesome time together!! Thanks Mark for the great times, memories, and laughs! LA lalalalala :)

June 23, 201 0- Old Hickory Lake
My son, Trey and I fished this afternoon from 6PM to 9PM for bluegill and bass. Since baseball has been keeping us both so busy, we had some down time to go "catching"! Using mill worms, Trey caught a ton of these that were larger than hand size. Together we caught 36 bluegill. Then we ran out of mill worms. So we took off to catch some bass. Fishing with crankbaits and lizards, we caught 6 bass. We had an awesome time together!!

June 19, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
My wife, Lela, and I fished this afternoon from 4PM to 9PM for bass. Together we caught 36 bass and Lela caught a nice 1 and half pound crappie on a crankbait. Together we fished with lizards, worms, crankbaits and buzzbaits. Lela caught a nice two pound bass, and I caught a 2.5 pound largemouth. We had an awesome time together despite the 90 degree temperatures at first! Thank you Lela for joining me on the lake!

June 13, 2010 - Watts Bar Lake
Fishing today with my son, Trey and Mark Griffin from Ten Mile, TN. We fished for catfish and bass. Trey caught 5 catfish and 2 bass! What an awesome time, Trey. Way to catch'em! Mark, Thank you for another great time!

June 12, 2010 - Watts Bar Lake
Fished for half a day with best friend, Mark Griffin from Ten Mile, TN. Fishing crankbaits, works, and lizards, we caught 16 bass with five keepers including a nice 4 to 4.5 pounder. I lost a whopping 7 pounder. :( We had an awesome time! Thanks for the great times, Mark!

June 11, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
Fishing day two of a two day bass tournament, Zane from Mt Juliet and I caught over 25 bass with two keepers. We ended up in first place for the entire tournament. We had a great time!

June 10, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
Today, Zane from Mt Juliet fished an all day bass tournament with me. We caught over 50 bass with five keepers. We ended up in first place for the day. Thanks again for another great time!

May 29-30, 2010 - Lake Barkley, KY
Ah, Memorial Weekend! Finally some R & R. Been a very busy spring. Fished with my father in law and wife. We caught over 135 bass, including a nice 3-4 pound smallmouth. What great times with my family.

May 28, 2010 - Lake Barkley, KY
This is the first time I am able to be on the lake due to the flooding, work, and coaching baseball.  Fishing with Barry Knight from Springfield, TN again, we used crankbaits and worms,we caught over 10 bass and this nice keeper! Thanks again for another great time!

April 17, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
This afternoon, I pre fished for a tournament. Fishing with crankbaits, buzz baits, and worms, I caught over 20 bass and this nice keeper! 

 April 15, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
Again this afternoon, I fished with Zane Taylor from Mount Juliet, TN. Fishing with crankbaits, buzz baits, and worms, We had a great time with 23 bass and 6 keepers!  What a great time Zane! Lets do it again!

April 10, 2010 - Old Hickory Lake
This morning, I fished with Zane Taylor from Mount Juliet, TN.  With the water temperatures rising, we fished with crankbaits and buzz baits. Catching was slow, but still had a great time and a great keeper!  Thanks Zane for a great time.

Today I fished with Barry Knight from Springfield, TN.  Fishing for bass we had a great trip with 20 bass, including 2 keepers!  Thanks for a great time.
