Your Day on the Lake

Are you ready for a truly enjoyable day on the water? If so, you have come to the right place! Your Nashville Fishing Guide, Mike Davis offers guided bass fishing trips primarily on Old Hickory Lake. As a seasoned angler in many different fishing techniques, I will be moe than happy to demonstrate and provide instruction and tips while on the water. We can go over map study as well.
Experience allows me to be knowledgeable about easy to learn techniques and where to find fish on the lake and river channels in order to provide you with the opportunity for a great catch.

As a Professional Angler, I STRONGLY promote safety and the conservation of one of the most awesome resources God has given us. The things we do today effect tomorrow. I highly encourage the practice of CPR (Catch, Photo, and Release) and prefer my guests to get replica mounts of their trophy bass. Digital photos will be taken and sent to you upon request.

Fishing Reports
Old Hickory Lake02/05/2012
Went out to Old Hickory Lake yesterday with my wife to catch some bass. It was a tough one! A day after a cold front in the winter. Started out slow, but the bite got better as the day went on. Ended up with 11 bass, 4 keepers! Largest one was 4 pounds caught on a crankbait. Second largest was 3 and half and caught on a Tennessee rig. Total weight of the 4 keepers was little over 12 pounds. Not a bad day for post frontal conditional. The rest came on a jig. The key to today was fishing slow and around cover. All bass were between 8 and 15 ft. Good Luck to all, Mike Davis Outdoors Guide, Robert Hunter

I just wanted to say thank you again for a great day of fishing! I had a great time. You taught me how to fish in different ways and you were extremely patient. Thanks again for taking the extra time with us today. I had no idea how much this type of service really cost. You gave us a great deal and it was a great blessing. I am currently trying to start my own business and finances are pretty tight, but my wife found your coupon and it made it affordable for us. You went way beyond the call of duty today and I wanted to say thank you. I would love to take my son or my dad out on a trip someday with you. I will send you some pictures soon.
Blessings, Phil LeBeau
